When the Swedish researchers delved a year ago to explore the bottom of the Baltic in search of wrecks from the war have dreamed would run into inexplicable mystery in the deep sea. Not even today can not determine whether it is a UFO, the entrance to another world or something else...
Larger unidentified sunken object first discovered on June 19, 2011, 275 feet down on the floor of the Baltic Sea between Sweden and Finland |
A year ago, Swedish research expedition Ocean Explorer has found an unusual object at the bottom of the Baltic. Swedish researchers were seeking the wreckage of World War II, and suddenly find that object 18 feet in diameter at the bottom of the Baltic Sea.
The water is a mixture of fresh and salt waters, but only about 35% as
salty as the ocean. The Baltic waters are so murky that divers cannot
see more than a few feet. The basin between Sweden and Finland was
formed by glacial erosion. The Baltic Sea is about 1,600 kilometers
(1,000 miles) long and averages 193 kilometers (120 miles) wide, with
depths ranging from 55 meters (180 feet) to the maximum depth of 459
meters (1,506 feet).
They immediately started rumors that it was a UFO wreckage, which bears an uncanny resemblance to the ship Millenium Falcon in the series, "Star Wars". Researchers still are not sure what it is.

Because of a lack of funding and bad timing, they have were not able to pull a team together to see for themselves - just the strange, metallic outline, and a similar disk-shaped object about 200 metres away. "First we thought that it was some kind of rock, but now we are pretty sure it's not," said Peter Lindberg of the research team.
According to the testimony of a diver, The object is covered with sooty rocks. "During his 20-year career in which I have over 6,000 dives, I have never seen anything like it. Normal rocks do not burn," said Stefan Hogeborn with no explanation for the sooty rocks.
"I can not explain what I saw, we went down for the answers, but we're back with more questions," added Hogeborn.
With radars and cameras, researchers have discovered and 300-meter track, after an unknown object. Assuming that this is either airstrip or track that the object is left behind.
"We heard a lot of different explanations. Of those that it was a spaceship, to the fact that it is actually the entrance to another world," says Lindberg. "The truth is that we are not sure what it is. Is it a natural phenomenon or a word yet about an unnatural object," he added.
The Ocean Explorer team's sonar pictures show that the object is a massive cylinder with a 60 metre diameter and a 400 metre-long tail deep in the Baltic Sea. A similar disk-shaped object was also found about 200 metres away.
Its never gonna make the news. If it is a UFO they won't let any non military personnel touch it, for it causes a threat.
